Hamid bin Mohammed Fayez, Vice Minister of Culture, has launched ‘From Within’ art exhibition on Sunday evening at the industrial area of Ad-Diriyah, in the presence of specialists from arts and culture sector. The exhibition, which runs until 26 December 2019, includes the works of over 25 Saudi and Gulf artists, highlighting the relationship between architecture and human behavior and their mutual influence. The works examine the patterns of human behavior and its relation to architecture while observing its changes throughout the ages. The collection of paintings, drawings, sculptures, videos, and installations at the exhibition also draw attention to the ways in which human experiences and social norms affect civilizations. The exhibition is part of the initiatives of the Quality of Life Program, one of Saudi Vision 2030 programs, and the Ministry of Culture’s plan to transform Ad-Diriyah into a region bringing together works of contemporary arts from around the world. It reflects the ministry’s role in supporting world-class artworks and cultural events and its endeavor to create opportunities and provide platforms for Saudi Artists to showcase their work globally.
